Question - Turned notifications for Skype completely off, but still getting notification bubble?

I turned off notifications for Skype, and put Skype in a 'folder'/group with a few other apps, but when I get a notification over Skype, the little notification bubble still pops up in the corner of the folder and also on the icon within the folder.

Any ideas as to how to remedy this?

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you turn off notifications? Try going to the App Manager, select Skype, and turn off the notifications there (as opposed to turning them off within the app's own settings).

Thanks, I turned them off both in the app manager setting and in the skype setting, which is why I'm really confused
