you are posting in the wrong area but yes this phone is a world phone. I have owned this phone before and it is a great phone overall.

I looked for it in the gsmarena.com and it says this at the gsm section: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. I guess that one of this frequencies match the ones from Europe.
The reason I wanted to ask someone is that, I will buy it from amazon.com (US) and I know many US smartphones/cellphones don't work with EU carriers like Vodafone, Orange, O2, etc; and I had to be sure, before I would buy it.
