Does forcing your tablet to shutdown reduce the lifespan of your tablet?

Only if you force the shutdown with a hammer or other extreme force...

At least as far as I know.

I don't know what you mean by forcing a shutdown. Turning it off is fine by holding the power button and bringing up the shutdown menu.
