Questioning getting the LTEVO

As long as it is released by 6/1, I'm sticking with the LTEVO. If not released by then, going to BB for the GNex. I would wait, but they have a promo giving $50 credit for trading my OG Evo, but that expires 6/1. Then, pray the LTEVO is released within 30 days :D

Yes, we all do! :D

If the Evo LTE becomes delayed indefinitely, past the SIII release date, I would switch. With that said, what would you do if the SIII also suffers the same ITC fate as the Evo LTE?

He or she would get an iphone of course, like Apple wants them to.

I staying with the Evo line of phones, had both without issues. As much as I've tried, I can't seem to make myself buy one of those cheap looking, light, hollow feeling Samsung phones. As for the new software features, they seem like gimmicks that I will never realistically use just like 3D on my Evo. I didn't buy my Evo for 3D, it was for the new hardware which has been running like a champ. I didn't pre order because I can't until the 1st but as long as I'm on Sprint and in been a long time, I will be buying htc Evo line of phones.

I'm sticking with my pre-order. I reeeeaaally hope it comes soon, though. My original EVO's screen shattered a couple weeks ago. It still works, but the spider web cracks are driving me crazy.

Why is the S3 so provocative? It has some cute software but nothing with a day-to-day game changer like the EVO's camera software. Plus the EVO has a nicer screen with better color quality, LTE (i know), HD Voice (i know), Sense 4 (better than Twiz), Dev Support already with Rooted ROM, and better build quality.

The only big advantage the S3 has IMO is the GPU. Let me also say I'm not a complete expert at all this so please provide what the S3 has that makes it the Tits

it's been three whole days I can't take it any more!!!! I've canceled my pre-order dropped sprint divorced my wife shot my dog quit my job gonna move into the woods and live off the land

Now that's how you handle a problem...hahaha!!!:D

I'm ordering my upgrade on June 1. I don't care if I have to wait 4 more months for it. I'm going to use my purchasing power (the only real consumer's voting power) to support HTC and Sprint in their battle against Crapple. It's because of the JOBS MOB that now Microsoft has jumped on the bandwagon to pull the same stunt on Motorola. I'm sorry folks, but I think if you cancel your preorder and take the dollars from HTC, you're helping Apple put down a smaller company that puts out a superior product. It sucks that I'll probably have to wait, and it sucks that I'll lose some minor functionality due to the actions of a bunch of over-priced, moose turd eating lawyers, and it really sucks that Apple is in the middle of all of this and has won a minor battle in the patent wars, but I'll not give the Apple death machine the satisfaction of taking a sale away from HTC.

And for the record, I smashed my Apple ITouch today with a hammer in protest! (I don't use it anyway, but it's the thought that counts). I won't buy an Apple product ever again.

Get through BB and you'll have 30 days to return with no restocking fees. I'm gonna wait a bit longer to see how this plays out today and if looks like it'll be week(s) for the LTE to arrive then gnex it is.

You may have 30 days to return the phone, but your upgrade through Sprint is only reversible for 15 days.

TBH, the phones release date of May 18th was a month earlier than I expected, but I'll go ahead and wait til 6/1/12 myself...

Sent From My Half Dead HTC Evo 3D, On The Now Network From Virgin Mobile?

The only reason I'm even questioning getting it is because I have no idea when LTE will be available here. My contract is up with Sprint next month and I might just switch if the S3 looks good on the other networks. If LTE was going to be available by the summer here then the EVO 4G LTE would be a no brainer for me. I'd buy it immediately.

I have no choice but to wait, unless rumored Motorola Photon 4G LTE drops while EVO sits at customs, than I'll cancel and switch. If not, I am willing to wait till June.

Could be difficult since Motorola phones have now been stopped by customs thanks to Microsoft. I think they pretty much said "hell Apple is getting all this negative publicity, we can sneak this in and nobody will pay attention"

Yeah, I think once companies see how easy Apple was able to stifle the competition, Microsoft figured, "why not. They are doing it, we can do it too." It's ridiculous. What ever happened to business ethics. Respecting the competition? More money more power. Apple is the new mafia.

I couldnt agree more. I am much closer to cancelling my preorder than I am to keeping it. The Galaxy S3 looks awesome.

The s3 has over 5 million pre orders too ! I have been thinking the same, if i dont have me lte by the end of next week Im gonna hold out for the s3 :) Maybe :o

At this rate, I have my accessories for the phone. Now all I need is the phone. Staying the course!

I personally wouldn't jump into the SIII, I'll stick with the EVO for now. Should this take months and we start seeing other phones with better specs than the EVO then I might jump ship, I doubt this will take that long though.;)
