Back again since the S26 is coming out soon.

As in the past I always order via Samsung.com.

However I live alone now so at work a lot of times, but also my condo UPS and especially Fedex always delivers to another condo with my same number but on the other side of the lake. I redirect my stuff to UPS store or Walgreens now, but Samsung and Fedex don't give you the option to have it sent to a UPS store or Fedex when they used Fedex.

If you order via samsung.com will it let you pick it up from best buy or is that only for stuff already in stock and best buy?

Also, how has Amazon pre ordering gone? With Amazon I can have it sent to an Amazon locker so I don't have to worry about being home. Also Amazon has better returns compared to the nightmares Samsung has.

Downside with Amazon I cant trade my phone in. I'd have to sell it at my cell phone accessory shop at the fleamarket.

So, how has pre ordering going with Amazon? DOes BH Photo carry samsung again?

I think you're going to be able to do the pickup with BestBuy as I've seen that option previously on a release. They sometimes also do Samsung stores along with BestBuy.

Do they still let you pick it up a few days earlier like it's sent to us early on pre order?

The only way to get it early is by getting it shipped to you. They usually deliver a few days before the actual release day. That has been my experience the last few years.
BestBuy will not let you pick up early. Only on release day.

Like if its broke can you return it to best buy, or have to go through Samsung. If you have to pick it up the same day, unless you're doing a trade in it's probably better to use Amazon. Seems Amazon less headaches if you have an issue vs Samsung customer service and Amazon has lock boxes. I always used samsung.com before but the condo issue and the wrong address can't take any chances.

So... Checking AT&T site, they will give me $1300 for my iPhone 15 😯 and $1100 for my S23 Ultra 😯

On Samsung site... $230 for my iPhone 15. $650 for my Samsung S23U. 😠

🤔

True...but then you cannot upgrade that phone line for 36 months or lose money from your trade in. If you do not plan on upgrading anytime soon then its is a great deal for you :)

I should try not to upgrade phones every couple of years anyways LOL.

I don't upgrade every year and in past I always lucked out I guess when I wanted to upgrade. If I didn't get an unlocked phone due to poor trade-in amounts usually the carrier would have $1000 trade-in. If I was in a contract with AT&T, Samsung would say that's ok and take the phone as trade-in and pop my sim in the new phone and finish off my contract over time anyways. And always been able to go back and forth that way since the Note 8. There seems to always be options.

If I do then go 26U I hope I like this phone as much as my S23U then I'd be ok rocking it a few years if I have to :)

Right now the best deal around seems to be from Best Buy. They are offering the S26U with 512 Gb of storage for the same price as the 256 Gb mode($1299). And they'll link it to your Verizon account (if that's your carrier) or any other carrier account you currently use.
Verizon itself isn't offering this nor is Samsung!

This seems to definitely be the best deal. Kinda sucks they charge you the full amount then refund after they get the trade in. Does anyone know if they charge your card right away or wait for the phone to ship?

Best Buy trade-in offers for S25 Ultra is $200 less than at Samsung. Just to keep in mind if plan to trade-in.

That doesnt make much sense but good to know. We just have the s23 ultra and s24+ in my house and the trade ins are the same as samsung.com on those. Wish samsung would have offered the free 512 upgrade also

Also another thing I noticed on the best buy deal is they charge sales tax on the full amount of the phone. Samsung deducts your trade off the total and taxes just the remaining amount.

Yes I looked at Best Buy but I had already ordered from samsung. They're trade in for the 24 Ultra was the same as Samsung and they have the free memory upgrade. And they might be giving away a gift card also I'm not sure.

I ordered from Best Buy as I wanted a better price on the 512GB S26U and better trade in on my S23U. If you read the fine print you will see that sales tax is adjusted and refunded when trade in is returned. I put the pencil to everything and ended up doing the trade in route on Samsung for my husband's new S26U and earbuds as he wanted the Silver Samsung exclusive phone and buds - got the bundle discount, PayPal $50, $80 reserve credit & 5% cashback rebate thru TopCashback. I only wanted the trade in on a new white S26U but with storage upgrade so went with Best Buy which was $200 off Samsung's 512GB pricing and $700 trade in for my S23U vs Samsung's $650. I also got a 2% cashback rebate from TopCashback.

So yes I paid "full" price but only temporarily - even taxes will be adjusted!
