Flashed CM6 yesterday, wiped first and all seemed to go well. Tried restoring saved apps and data using Mybackup root. Possibly some of my old the files aren't compatible. In any case I lost use of the phone app, and couldn't bring up any of the Installed apps. Wiped and reflashed. Didn't back up the previous installation. Now I had the phone and contacts and a couple of other stock apps, but was unable to do anything else, including reloading/reinstalling apps.
Recovered my stock rom and all is well. I must have done something wrong. I would be willing to install apps I want without using mybackup, but I would hate to flash again and end up with the broken rom again. Might there be some files I should erase first? Any other ideas?
