Questions about LED light & phone vol.

I am on 7.1.1 Beta (Nov update) with unlocked phone (from Amazon) on Verizon network
How to get LED to show battery full charged? It is possible I changed some setting, can't remember if the LED worked previously.
Is there any way to lower the phone speaker vol.

Notification light is under Settings > Notifications > press on the Gear icon upper right. I'm not sure I ever saw the battery full charged without a 3rd party app like Light Manager Pro.

Phone Speaker volume is under Settings > Sound.
