Nope, dropped maybe a handful of times over the course of 2 yrs. Always been in a case. IDK I think maybe I just got the dud of the batch.
Even one drop can damage a phone, depending on impact.

I am keeping it because I have 0 issues. If you're okay with keeping the Note 5 you've got a lot of options to keep it going with custom ROMs even after Samsung drops update support for it

True, although it's a lot easier now than it was a few years ago imoKeep in mind though that custom Roms have risks too.
Honestly I'd recommend spending just a bit more and getting a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S7 the Honor 8 will, imo, really only be a solid phone for the next year and a half or so.Okay, that's good for you. I didn't or anyone else tell you to get rid of it? I do have issues with mine and was looking for opinions on a phone to replace it.

True, but popular phones like the note 5 should have pretty good security even in custom ROMsEase of install might reduce the installation risks but not the security risks.
If you haven't already get it. Trust me? The camera is awesome. It's light, smooth and ripping fast. And emui 4 is has the issue with notifications. Emui 5 on the Honor 8 works just fine. Get it!Hey guys,
I'm going to be buying a new phone within the next month so I can finally throw my note 5 in the trash. Anyways, I'm wanting to stay under that $350 window and the honor 8 has been interesting to be since release. I have a couple questions though.
How is the camera, would you say it's on the same level as the Note 5?
Is emui really as annoying as all the reviews on AC make it out to be?
And finally is it even worth buying right now, or should I continue to look around?
