Questions re text message

Hi all,
Out of all the text messages, one message with one particular person is different. I can see when it was sent and read by the recipient for this particular text message. Anyone knows what makes this text message different than the rest? Is it because the recipient also using LG G7? Also, if I block this particular recipient's number, would the recipient knows if they are being blocked?

Welcome to Android Central! That person probably has RCS turned on, and you probably have it turned on as well. It's probably listed in your messaging app's settings as "Chat Features."

Ah, I see, yes, I see it on my text. Do you know what happen if a number, that I blocked, trying to send text to me. Assuming they turn on the RCS on their end, would they just get a generic notification that their text can't reach my number?
