Has anyone found a "certified" quick charge 2.0 charger for the HTC One M8? I cant seem to find anything that truly advertises itself ans Quick Charge 2.0. (at least from anywhere I trust).

Don't think it's out yet. The Moto one is on their site saying "coming soon".

Just wished htc would launch one official. Motorola did it yesterday

Re: Quick Charge 2.0 Adapter?

Will the Moto one have the quick charge 2.0 effect on HTC? Is it standardized?

I received my Motorola Quick Charge 2.0 adapter today, and though it does charge fast, I don't think the HTC update has enabled the full Quick Charge 2.0 feature.

Why do you say that?
Another thing, related to chargers in general: why are the usb cords so short? When I'm charging it in bed, for instance, it's very uncomfortable

I have to agree. I used the charger that came with my new Note 4 which is quick charge 2.0 on my M8 and didn't see a difference in charge speed. I read somewhere that HTC is suppose to enable it with an update.

Wrong. Again. Read my report. No standard USB charger is generating rates of change of 100%. But the Moto Turbo charger is. You guys are simply wrong.

They seem to be pretty sensitive to length and inherent loss of current due to the increased electrical resistance. In other words, the longer the cable, the less power it can deliver unless the wires in it are made thicker. That usually isn't the case and I've compared my stock cable to a good 6 ft cable on the same charger with negative results. My charging current went down drastically and took my phone a lot l longer to charge with the longer cable.

What do you mean wrong again? I posted this before I read your report and response to my other post.

I have a 6 foot cable I got from Monoprice that actually charges faster than the shorter ones. It's the premium one for less than $3.
