The release of quick charge 3.0 is right around the corner and so far I'm a bit excited since I most of my current devices take advantage of quick charge 2.0 but hopefully the s7 supports 3.0 as I will definitely be grabbing a quick charge 3.0 charger asap since they will support quick charge 2.0. I believe that on quick Charge 3.0 compatible devices you can get 27% faster charging speed than Quick Charge 2.0 Charger.

Any thoughts? =)

I'm not too worried about it. I'm honestly more excited about further developments in Qi wireless charging.

I definitely agree. I currently use a choetech fast wireless charger that performs great. I'd love to see more improvement from the phone makers to wireless charging but sadly some companies (Google) want to try and leave it out. It feels like that one time they stopped supporting micro sd cards.

Yeah it's one of the reasons I still have respect for Microsoft. They're latest phones, as bumpy as their launch has been, are the only high-end phones out there that has it all. Removable battery, expandable storage, wireless charging, with the most powerful hardware available, gorgeous screens, amazing cameras that can easily keep up with if not surpass every other mobile camera out there. Google has taken a step back (although I do like the Nexus 6P) and Samsung is even worse.
I just bought a new Qi wireless charging stand (from TYLT) and I'm excited to start using it.

Quick Charge 3.0 is engineered to refuel devices up to four times faster than conventional charging. It is designed to charge twice as fast as Quick Charge 1.0 and to be 38 percent more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0. Now consumers can spend even less time charging, and can grab and go more quickly.
