I did a bit of reading up on Quick charge and this is how I interpreted it:-I upgraded all my chargers to QC 3.0 and didn't notice much of a difference from v2. I'm sure if I did some real measured test, I'd see it, but I was hoping for another % or 2 per minute. Oh, well.
This alone is worth using QC 3.0 for. Your battery will certainly thank you for it later on down the lineI use wireless charging 95% of the time, but to me seems that QC2 and QC3 are about the same speed, but QC3 does seem more efficient, as it is supposed to be, because I usually don't notice the phone getting warm at all.
I bought a few QC 3.0 power bricks with the USB-C cables off Amazon. Aukey is the brand I think.
definitely love the quick charge speed, and love seeing the "fast charging enabled" on the lower part of my lock screen when it does
I've replaced mine with a quick charge 3.0 one. I don't believe it to be much faster, but that's not what the upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 was really about.
Efficiency is the "big upgrade" over QC 2.0. With the greater efficiency comes less wasted energy (Heat), which in turn is better for the longevity of your battery.OK, I'll bite. What was it really about.
Thx.Efficiency is the "big upgrade" over QC 2.0. With the greater efficiency comes less wasted energy (Heat), which in turn is better for the longevity of your battery.
