quick charge question

Two days ago the my 6p has stopped charging rapidly. I have checked the cables and power brick, and both are fine. Last night I started charging at 11a with 15% battery and this morning at 530 it only made it to 77%. Has anyone else experienced this?

Even with "slow" charging, it should have hit 100% in that time frame.

First question: with the phone off (sleeping; not powered off), plug in to the charger. Give it a few seconds and then, what does it say at the bottom of the screen - "Charging" or "Charging rapidly"?

Next: are you using the stock power brick and cable?

Next: go to Settings -> Battery. What are the top 5 items in the list and the percentages?

Even with rapid charging, what you gave for batt stats, are you in the 90-80's for percentage? The phone will slow charge as it gets closer to 100%.

The phone has been at different battery percentages when I plug it in. Last night it was at 11% when I plugged it in and it only made it to 77% by morning. I have also plugged it in at 40% and it is not rapidly charging.

Yea there's def something wrong. If you plug in at 11% the phone should be pulling close to 3amps, and it should charge after an hr or so. Maybe defective unit, or bad cable? Did you try another charging cable or brick?

Something is definitely wrong. Last week my battery was down to 8% ... Not sure how much time is required but when i came back in 2.5 hours it was charged to 100%.
