Quick charge question

Will the note 7 be able to be charged with quick charge 2.0 chargers like the galaxy 7? Thinking about buying a quick charge charger and external battery for the note 7.

We'll have to wait and see. You would think Quick Charge 3.0 would be supported for any new release. Or perhaps Samsung has something entirely new. We'll see on August 2nd.

The charger will work but the speed would depend on what the phone supports

Note 7 Charging

Hey everyone, just curious about the USB-C charging cable for the Note 7. I plan on getting the phone and wanted to buy some extra USB-C charging cables but wanted to know which versions the phone supports and which would be better if anyone knew.

Does it support 3.1/3.0 type-A or just 2.0? I wasn't sure and don't believe I heard anything on it.

What about USB-C to USB-C, would that work as well?

Kind of sounds like a stupid question since USB-C is 3.1 but I wanted to make sure. Thanks

Okay so since I have QC 2 charging blocks and car adapters everywhere does this mean I can just buy some usb C cables and call it a day?
