Quick charge??

I've never seen a usb-c cable, so I'm really clueless. I assume the quick charge is via that cable, but not sure. and I see these OP2 ones, but it says type a to type c ... will that take care of quick charge? somebody help me out please!! thx

OK cool. I was under the impression usb-c was capable of quick charge too. same deal with the car charger? can use the same one as nexus 6?

how about an external charger? still capable of quick charge (sorry for all the questions but u seem to know the deal)?

and I'll push my luck, do u recommend any specific one? there's a ton out there but I haven't bought one in 4 years.

I use 1 from Anker, I think it has like 10,000 mah it has quick charge 2.0. You can buy it on Amazon.

The 6P will not support Qualcomm's Quickcharge feature. It seems rapid charging is being done a different way via a charger that can output 3A. So don't expect as fast charging using a charger that supports QuickCharge 2.0.

The 5X and 6P support USB-C fast charging only. They do not support quick charge 2.0 or other quick charging methods.

No. You're wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.

If you want FAST charging on the 6P (it does not support quick charge 2.0), you want a type C to C cable capable of 3A.

From my limited knowledge on the subject, it's usually about the amps(A)... from a PC, older USB (1.0 and 2.0) ports can output .5A, and the newer USB 3.0 can output .9A, and some new car charger will vary from around 2A to about 2.4A. The new Nexus 6P wall charger is 3A.

Since the 6p is not qc 2.0 certified, there is a chance the charger will charge at it's slowest rate because it cannot recognize the device's power needs.

I think Android 6.0 handles the quick charging.
