Just got a Extreme, from Craigslist believe it or not, and although I live and breathe tablets and have owned pretty much every one made since Archos was the only game in town, this one actually is very very good so far.

USB supports USB OTG

Speed is fantastic in its out of the box balanced mode, fastest tablet I have ever owned, inserting a SD card with 10 years of digital photography (120,000 photos) and over 1,000 songs did not even slow down media scanner and stock gallery showed all items immediately, a first for me with this much content.

This tablet will completely boot from off in less than 20 seconds

Screen is bright and clear

GPS is probably the fastest I've used and spot on

Dual front facing speakers are a nice touch, no more beats audio though, nice volume and good highs and lows

Included pen is very very nice, great weight and size with a nice small tip with just enough softness and resistance against the screen.

Still have to check on 64 gig card support and maybe some benchmarks. I have installed dead trigger 2 which is greatly enhanced from its Tegra 3 version but I can't seem to slow this tablet down or even get it to stutter, anyone have any ideas on high end system stressing apps I can throw at this tablet to check it out ?

Back camera is very good, and the default camera app, Camera Awesome is well, pretty awesome.

God, that camera. Is it the app or the camera ? Its absolutely fantastic.

More later

Just did a quick AnTuTu test not closing any apps or anything and it got a score of Amazing 33722, in 2nd place behind the top spot.

Tablet supports HDMI out up to 4k and wireless Miracast.

Supports 'forgot the buzzword here' where you attach it to a TV and fully control the tablet with a compatible controller.

Does not have vibrate or a notification light. Or any light for that matter ;-)

Welcome to Android Central, and thanks for the review! How is the viewing angle of the screen?

I'm using it in bright sunlight right now and I can read the forums with your app at extreme angles

One feature I hadn't noticed myself until I stumbled across a forum on the web is that the Slate7 Extreme has a magnetic back casing. Off the top of my head I couldn't imagine a lot of use cases for this functionality until the other day when I slapped it onto the old refrigerator while I was cooking. Pretty darn cool!
