Quick Menu Button Question

I remember the HTC EVO LTE always defaulted certain aps with the 3 dot menu button at the button until they gave an update to give you the option of taking it off and function with the multitask button. I noticed the One has the 3 dot menu buttons at the bottom of the apps yet no option that I could find to take it off. Can anyone confirm if this is the case?

Yes. That is the case. As discussed, ad nauseam, in other threads the One has only 2 buttons, meaning you are missing the dedicated task switcher/menu button. There is no work around, yet, for apps that aren't updated to current Android specs.
