Just in case you guys need to have a refresher;

The Moto Z phones includes the ability to back up full-resolution pictures and 2160p UHD recorded video to Google Photos.

However, unlike the similar promo used for the Google Pixel, this one is limited to 2 years.

It's nice to have, however, and to enable it, you just have to dive into Google Photos' settings on your device and change your backup method from "High Quality" to "Original".

Think all z have it... My z play has it too.

What happens at the end of two years?

I was under the impression that it's only for that phone.

it's likely a method to get people to build up enough files to encourage getting a G Suite subscription with unlimited data, or at least pay a bit extra for storage (I currently pay ~$2/mo for an extra 100GB.)
