Can i receive/download the update connected to wifi? I can't remember since i pulled the phone out of the box updating to current. - thanks lol

I always thought it had to be done through data, but I have seen posts of people reporting they got the OTA on wifi. So I guess the answer is yes.

The Verizon site sates that if you are in a weak signal area, that you will need to turn on wifi to get the update.
I can confirm that I was on WiFi when my OTA update came in late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning. I performed the update completely while on WiFi.
