Hello everyone,
as you probably know, the awesome quick pic has been sold to cheetah mobile.
So, from the next update, it will be time to change.
I've some ideas but I'll appreciate suggestions from you.
Do you use quick pic?
What are you evaluating as replacement?
Thanks

I tried while Piktures is much better than Quick Pic. But some features are missing. But whats wrong with default Photos app?

Yes why change? Facebook is now the owner of WhatsApp and it's still my main messaging app.

Read the article on Android Police Mathieau linked to. Cheetah Mobile is a company to be very weary of.

In fact if I don't appreciate the Facebook approach to customer privacy and if I don't use Facebook at all, maybe for me can be better another messenger (depending also on what my contracts use) but, at the end, it can be considered a subjective choice.
In the case of cheetah mobile there are tons of objective facts that show a dishonest behaviour.
At the moment I'm looking to three apps:
Pictures, Focus and F-Stop.
What do you think about these?

I use F Stop and loving it especially the quick folders option and the option pw protect folders is nice

Thank you for sharing your experience.
The f-stop major con seems to be that it's not ads free.
About Piktures, another well projected app, I can't understand why it need the permission to use my position.
Focus is a promising app but at this time it seems an immature app yet.
I'm considering to stay with the actual version of quick pic, not updating, till android 6.0 will be released and only after I'll make my choice counting on the new marshmallow permissions manager.

yeah the basic version is not ad free but trust me buying the key is money well spent
