quick question about data usage tracker

I have been thinking about this for a while but was contemplating whether to ask about it or not because it may be a stupid question.

The galaxy nexus has a data usage tracker chart that shows how much data you've been using in a given timeline, and you'll be able to set a notification when you have passed a certain data threshold right? Can you change this to be exclusively mobile plan data and not wifi? since the main point of using this reminder is to stop using data when you've reached your monthly limit, it's obviously useless if it also counts the data you've been using when accessed to wifi at home or work or wherever.

I'm sure Google would have thought about this but just a small confirmation would make me feel a wee bit easier about it.

Thanks.

The data tracker in ICS allows you to include wifi or not. Not sure about the notification part of it.

Yes there are two limits:

- Warning (notification)
- Real limit (stop all the data at that point)

That's not what I mean, sorry if I phrased my question wrong. I want to know if you can not include data usage over wifi for the notification warning. for example if I have set the notification threshold on 500MB and used a total of 1GB of data- with only 200MB used over 3G and 750MB is from wifi - will the notification still go off, or will it only account for the data usage over 3G.

The same question applies to the 'real limit' obviously

first of all, why do you need to know how much data you have used on wifi, it doesn't affect your data usage? and i have to assume that google factored it out that the settings will probably be 1. both or 2. only 3g/4g
