Quick question about kernels?

I'm currently running ViperXL, but would like to experiment with Jellybam 4.1.

I read that I would have to flash a kernel for it, and I'm fine with that. But if I decide to change my mind and go back to Viper, would I have to reflash the kernel I currently have now?

Use flash GUI app to flash jellybam... BUT first make a back up of viper in twrp.. when you want to come back, flash the same version of viper (3.2.2 - store that on the pc or keep on phone) in flash GUI, then reboot and flash your backup on viper.

When using flash GUI app, always flash the full rom.zip, then reboot> wipe-factory reset> install rom.zip
