Quick question regarding Galaxy S7 edge battery

Hi there

I was just wanting to get an idea on how other peoples battery lasts, this morning my battery was at 100% at 08:00 am on my way to work I listened to music on spotify while on Facebook, Twitter, What's App. When I arrived at work at 09:00 am my battery was at 90%. I was just wondering if this is the normal, As the battery seems to be pretty much the same as my Galaxy S5 based on the above.

I just wanted to make sure the phone was working properly as it's an expensive phone and I don't want to have a faulty handset.
It was overheating slightly yesterday as well, I only got the phone on Friday 18th March
