Quick remote => Apple remote ?

Curious... is there an app that turns the V10 into an apple remote? so I can control my macbook when I use it to play the music I have stored on my external HD?

Any VNC client/server pair (server on the Mac, client on the phone) will work if they're on the same LAN. It doesn't have to be the same VNC program, it can be one written for the Mac running on the Mac and a different one written for Android running on the phone.

Does your Mac have an IR receiver? The last Mac laptop to have one was the 2012 model, anything Retina won't have one.

Does your V10 have an IR transmitter?

If you said no to either, you won't be able to duplicate that remote at a hardware + software level. Software only? Doubtful also, Apple has things pretty well locked down so you likely won't be able to use iTunes AND have remote control.

Quick Remote works fine with my Apple TV.... Haven't tried it with my actual computer though.
