When I hit my unlock button on the top of the phone to bring the screen up, the screen does a very quick flash, then fades in like normal.

I am currently running 2.2, and I never noticed, nor looked for it, on 2.1. Can anyone running both 2.1 and 2.2 comment on this? I've been good with everything on 2.2 so far for the past few days, and I don't want to rollback unless this becomes a serious issue.

Confirmed on 2.2.

Can't confirm on 2.1 however I am extremely picky and attentive to detail about these things. And I have no recollection of this ever happening on 2.1, I would have made a mental note. Especially seeing as how I made note of it on 2.2, so to me I would've definitely noticed it in 2.1...

At least we're not alone, brandon :(

well, like you said, atleast i'm not alone...i went ahead and did a factory reset (didnt do one before the update from 2.1 to 2.2)...maybe it was a small glitch, if not, i'm going to have to deal with it

I have definitely noticed this since upgrading to 2.2...and not only am I 100% certain my DX didn't do this before, I have also confirmed that this isn't present on stock DX running 2.1 (2nd phone on account, rec'd today).

I would imagine it's something that will be fixed with the official OTA, though.

It's there but I can't see it being anything to lose sleep over nor do I expect it to get worse.

When you install leaked software, it's bound to have issues.

i understand this, it's just one of those issues i didn't even notice until yesterday

i know a small percentage of the initial run had a few screen problems, i was just hoping my screen wasn't on it's way out
