Hi everybody,

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I'm just wondering if anybody could help.

My quick settings on the notification bar for things such as bluetooth, wifi, aeroplane mode etc have disappeared.

When I drag my menu bar down there is now just a black space where those options used to be and if I go into my settings the long way to change the buttons that would be visible, there are no options there for me to select.

Anybody have any ideas as to why this would happen?

What phone do you have? On The Galaxy Nexus, swiping down does not show the quick settings until you press the settings icon in the right top quadrant. Then you get the screen you are referring to.

Apologies, I meant to include that in the opening post.

I have the Galaxy S4.

Thanks.

Hi.

I have just bought the S4 yesterday and everything seemed fine until I updated to Jelly Bean 4.2.2. I am facing the same issue as you; the notification panel is not showing any buttons and there is only black space.

Any suggestions / solutions will help.

Thanks.

On my note 2 in settings, under display there is Notification Panel...to customize as you wish. Does the S4 have something similar?

I have the same problem as yours. And I haven't find any solutions. I reset my phone, Alcatel One Touch 5038A. I downloaded apps, including LINE Launcher but i can't download it. >< so i restart my phone again, i downloaded GO Launcher this time .. and the quick settings on status bar and also the notifs were gone. Ugh. And the home button and recent apps button aren't working. what to do.
