Quick view on exercise progress

When I'm on a run, I quickly want to be able to see my progress: how long have I been running for, what's my current distance and what's my heartrate. Why doesn't the main screen show this? Is there a way to make this appear (or a skin that does this?)

Flicking your wrist during the run makes the screen come up, but it always defaults to the main screen and it lacks this info. It's such a pity as the Gear Fit 2 has all the technology I want in my fitness watch, but it doesn't make it easily accessible during exercising!

I'm sure it's an option, because that happens for me!

I never asked for it. I tend not to tell it i'm doing something, but if I'm walking for more than about five minutes it assumes i'm "Walking", starts to report back on the specific event not just "in general". Once it's registered the fact, if I glance at the watch, instead of the watchface, it shows me the steps, Km's covered, and time elapsed. It continues to do this until it's good and sure I've stopped and am not just pausing for breath or buying a paper or something! :-)

Good luck finding the button to click for this!!

I wonder if it's a feature of the chosen watchface design? If so, FYI, Im running "Rocketeer 24hr" from Broda. Also, I would say, Broda designer guy is *very* helpful, i had a minor snag and he responded to email in *minutes*. Maybe ask him if there's going to be a "Fit2" version of his Hitoshi Runner face.

That said, there's an idea, if you *can't* make it do what you want with the default face, there are other faces which may include that information on teh "main" display, and you can switch between faces in seconds once you have the chosen one loaded on the watch.
