ok, so on the play store right now its 3-4 weeks before shipping. Anyone know where i can get one quick? called best buy they dont know when they r getting it. called t mobile they have no word on it either.

I'd guess Nov 8th you can either get one from Amazon or the stores since iirc Sprint announced it.

Unless you want to pay a bonus buying one on Ebay the Google you are going to wait. Best Buy. T-Mobile or Sprint since they are charging $149. Nexus 5 coming to Sprint, T-Mobile, will also work on AT&T's network

If this turns out like the 2013 Nexus 7 you may find that Amazon will be able to ship one to you faster than Google Play at this point (6.5 hours after the order page went up). I ordered a Nexus 5 today at 11:40 am from Google Play and it should ship by Nov 5. During the summer I ordered a Nexus 7 from Amazon and I got it before those that had ordered on Google Play earlier than I placed my order on Amazon.

Completely depends on how much money you're willing to spend.

Got $500? Try eBay or Craigslist. The carriers will be selling the N5 too, but probably way above the Play Store price like T-Mo did last year. If you're looking to buy one for the Play Store's $350/399, then... well... Good luck.

The very quickest way of getting a Nexus 5 will likely be buying the first one that pops up on your local Craigslist.

I would just order one from the Play Store now, and sell it if you get one from Amazon or BB before it arrives. If might actually ship sooner than 3-4 weeks. Plus, you don't know when it will be available elsewhere. Just my 2 cents $400

If you know how to jump the line let me know! There are plenty of people who purchased more than one phone on the first batch that ships out before nov 5. I believe the premium is $150. Check kijiji or Craigslist etc.

Sprint is charging $150 for the N5 with a two year contract. You'll also find the latest Nexus phone at Best Buy and Radio Shack but it will be locked into a contract. The guy at Best Buy told me today they won't sell any unlocked out of the stores since they all come with carriers service but they would at some point sell unlocked phones online at Best Buy.

Well if you're willing to shell out a couple hundred dollars in premium, you can probably get one from one of the profiteers on Craigslist, Ebay, etc. Personally I'd just get in line at the Google Play Store as I'm not willing to spend several hundred dollars more just to have it a few weeks sooner.

How long after launch did Amazon have the Nexus 7 in stock?

I would just wait until Best Buy has the phone. That may be the best way to get the phone without signing a contract.
