Quiet the vibrate motor?

Has anyone found a solution to quieting down the vibrate motor?

I know on the Galaxy S4 you could set the intensity on the vibrate.

I just put it on silent and keep it face up. Active notifications > vibration unless in my pocket.

Most of the time I have it sitting on my desk at work and its damn loud!

I do the same thing while I'm in class. Plus, Motorola Connect lets me see notifications on my computer screen.

with KitKat the intensity was reduced wasn't it??

To me, it feels like they changed the frequency but the amplitude is the same.
