I love the Android OS, but still find on-screen keyboards unusable for the amount of text I write using my phone. I have tried the third-party software keyboard options, none are quite up to muster compared to the Blackberry keyboard. I've signed up to see if there is anything out there that will satisfy my requirements for an Android phone with a physical keyboard, or whether I'm stuck with the Blackberry Q10.
I saw a leak purporting to show the Droid 5 a few weeks ago, but since Google don't like physical keyboards and Google own Motorola, I'm not sure that this phone will ever see the light of day. I also saw in another thread that somebody had the NEC Terrain, but this doesn't seem to be available in the UK.
Does anybody know whether I have any options in the UK market for an Android phone with a QWERTY keyboard? The Blackberry form factor would be ideal, but I'd happily take a look at slider phones if it means I have an option to not use the Blackberry OS.
