Wow. I got to that last picture and I was like, "Ouch!" Sorry man. As others have said, I hope opted for the insurance.

yes i have the insurence, but have to wait til next thursday before i can pay for the replacement.

on a side note, the cracked glass on the DX is on the inside, NOT the Gorilla Glass, there's not even a scratch on the top glass.....

Yeah, I'm mostly glad to hear that you didn't break your neck. I did some stupid stuff in my day too and I'm glad I managed to come out ok as well (alas, not everyone is as lucky). So in the grande scheme of things a week to get your replacement is not so bad (although I imagine you're going into phone withdrawal now!).'

Anyways, thank goodness you had the insurance! And I try to listen to my wife...she's pretty cool as well, and also tends to know my limits at least as well as I do

For your replacement are you getting a brand new in box droid x? I've been hearing of these horror stories of people being offered comparable phones or refurb phones of theirs at best with insurance. I'm seriously considering dropping my insurance bc of this. If im going to pay 8 bucks/month I better be guaranteed my droid x not some BS comparable crap.

Its always been about a cellphone only refurb on an insurance or warranty replacement. The only time you would ever get a new phone is for replacements within the return exchange period.
