Just venting really, so I bought the Nexus S when it first came out and loved it up until its demise. :-\ After a quick run, the phone's power button stopped working. I couldn't get the screen to come on or off. Only way I could get it to come on was to take the battery out and put it back in. Once it was on I would have to wait for the screen to shut off and repeat if I wanted to use my phone. I have the insurance for my phone through best buy (I won't deal with sprint) so they sent it off for service. After 3 weeks of following the tracking, the status was changed to exchange assessment. So I went and asked about it and was told that I would be getting an exchange and since I was there I could look to see what phone I was interested in switching to. Well I really want the galaxy nexus and since its an older phone it shouldn't have a problem getting one. Unfortunately best buy mobile does not carry those in store any longer and I can't have them get it off the internet for me. So now I'm left wondering what I can get since I don't think they'll give me much for my nexus. :-\ Oh well.

When I broke the screen on mine they gave me the option of replacement or repair. Replacement was 5 day wait, repair was up to 5 weeks, I told them to give me a replacement and I had it 3 days. They also gave me an EVO as a loaner phone for free.

That's weird. They didn't ask me that. It just got sent off to repair. Honestly I would like to just have it back. I'm on a phone now that's not even on gingerbread. Its pretty horrible. Hope I hear something soon. :-/

I have never dealt with BB, I have heard both good and bad...

Personally I've always stuck with Sprint for my TEP, sure its not worth a darn if your not making a claim on it but I have had my phones all repaired or replaced using the TEP so its done paid for itself a few times over. Never really had much of a problem, normally a 3 day turn around on replacements (refurbs) and repairs usually are only done it seems if its something simple otherwise they just opt for the refurb.

I think BB took advantage of you in the situation, its a shame.

Seems like I've just had bad luck with these things. When I was with sprint I'd get a refurbished phone and it would crap out on me within a month or so.

Get the new Evo, Nexus phones have lost their appeal on CDMA carriers anyways.

Had an HTC phone long ago and wasn't impressed I would have to mess with a new one to see if I really wanted it. I think I'm ending up with an S3 though.
