Moment of silence for my fat 40g ps3.. I bought it when it first came out and it lasted up until last night.. I tried the thermal pasted fix and it lasted for about 30 mins.. Onto the ps4..

I'm on my second PS3 and this one has been hanging on for dear life, for the last year or so.

Are you going to go out and get a PS4 straight away, or wait a couple of months to see if it comes down in price?

I had a 60GB PS3 that crashed early on me. I had to buy a new one to replace it. It happened 1 year after the PS3 came out so good games were just starting to come out.

I have a 60GB PS3 that I got shortly before they were discontinued. About 2 years ago, it stopped reading any and all discs and wouldn't spit them back out.

I took it in to a repair shop and got both the laser and blu-ray drive swapped for $100.

PS3 still works as if brand new to this day.
