I said good bye to my S7 yesterday and upgraded to the Note 9. Had it since release date... Treated me well the last few years but Friday night was my breaking point....went to see Metallica in Tulsa... I'm from okc.... Iit was fully charged when I got there around 4..used it to find a place to eat.. Sent a few text to the wife and threw it I my pocket. Got to the venue... Got in around six.... Phone was already down to 40% . Metallica came on around 8:30ish... I was able to get about 12 pics and two 30 sec bids and she flatlined.

I'm gonna wipe it, and either sell it or let my lil girl play with it.

The S7 is a few years old now and batteries have a finite number of cycles before they start to deteriorate. One to two years from a heavy user is around what I expect... You can also get battery pack cases which can double your time. I always use one of I'm away from chargers for a length of time, or am in marginal coverage areas...

Mine is going as well. It's discharging with phone off from 100% to about 20% when I turn it back on in the morning.

How is the Note 9? I'm going to check out a few phones today myself.
