radio disney app not working

I just got my daughter an LG Optimus Elite and the Radio Disney app will not work on this phone. It constantly says "Connecting" and will never play the music. I've updated the phone's PRL, and profile, uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. Anyone else using the radio disney app and seeing this too?

could be network issues with Disney. if all of your regular applications like browser,etc work well while using the internet,then it is most likely the Disney app itself. if you are having other connection issues outside the Disney app like connection errors when using play store and others then you may want to call virgin mobile or sprint depending on which you are with. id suggest searching play store for a similar app for your daughter and see how it performs. this issue with radio Disney may resolve itself fairly quickly.
