Rainbow streak on screen

It's not always visible but at the top of my Nexus 6's display, there is this small streak of rainbow that stretches across the top of the display.
You see it mostly on angles.

Originally, I thought this was because of the AMOLED display, but long before the screen rainbows out you can see this streak, and you can even see it when the display is off.

I already replaced my 6P because the display had a problem where it would be yellow on one side and white on the other so replacing it again isn't what I want to do.

I was just wondering if someone here has the same problem, knows how to fix it, or really anything helpful about this issue.

It sounds like a hardware issue with the screen, and I doubt that it can be fixed without a replacement or sending it back. Did it have this issue upon receipt, or did it develop later?

I noticed it a few days after receipt, but I doubt it could have happened out of the box because I have no clue what it is or how it was caused

it's not the best picture but at the top you can see part of the streak, it's totally not in line with the rest of the screen rainbowing out. On camera it's not easy to capture but that's basically what it is except all the way across the top and at lesser angles
