RAM Issue??

I'm not sure if this is a "normal" thing on Android phones, but when I go under the "running services" in the applications settings, down on the bottom it shows RAM used on the left and RAM free on the right......mine is showing around 350MB used & 375MB free......i'm no math genius, but that only adds up to around 725MB......should this not add up to 1GB?!?!? Or is it normal for phones to show "short" like this?

The rest is likely eaten up by the system to run blur and other important services/processes

Good point.....I guess I really didn't stop to think a little harder about it being "app" related info I was looking at...that would make sense then.
