RAM Usage

Hi there

When I go to the Application Manager in Settings and look up my RAM usage, I add up the memory taken up by running apps and cached processes. I notice that this total does not equal to the indicated RAM usage. Is there anything that uses RAM that is not shown in the Application Manager?
