Random ad while charging phone

This ad i believe has just recently started showing up on my phone all of sudden and I can't figure out for the life of me where it's coming from. I haven't installed anything side loaded only from play store

There are several reports about this same issue. Different apps have started to push ads on the lock screen while the phone is charging. Keyboards, games, launchers, battery boosters, you name it. Some of them are from GO or DU. Take a look at this thread.

Using Nova only no battery monitor or lockscreen app

Turned out be "Amber Weather Widget" was the culprit before the most recent update. Seem to be some new version of adware within apps starting to show up now smh. I understand ads generate revenue but that was atrocious by them...

That's good to know. Amber Weather seems to advertise heavily in Google Play Store, with tons of various skins for their widget. I'm not surprised they do this kind of stuff.:-\

Its due to the updated es file explorer probably. Check in the tools menu and turn off speed charging. It helped in my case
