Random apps opening when unlocked

Hi all , when I unlock my s7 edge occasionally random apps will open up , it's mainly apps on the home screen that appear , any ideas , cheers

Could it be due to extra or prolonged contact with the touchscreen in the vicinity of those apps' shortcuts? When you unlock the screen, is it a smooth unlock, or does it seem a little choppy?

Sometimes choppy , sometimes smooth , just unlocked and play store opened , only done it a few times today

Hard to say if it's an issue with the TouchWiz launcher or the something else with the system. You could try installing an alternate launcher like Nova and see if it happens there.
