Random Cards

I am using official Android Lollipop 5.0 on Moto X 2014. However I have observed that while clearing the recent apps, random cards show up after I have cleared all the running apps. Anyone else seeing this?

I have experienced this as well. To me it's not a huge issue, but I would like to know how it chooses which asp to display.

I think it is strange that if you go a few days there are as many open cards as you have apps. They always sit there even after reboot. I am sure that this will be fixed by Google at some point.

Yup, I see this too.

The cards show recent apps, not just running apps. Even if you have "closed" them, they will still persist even after a reboot. I haven't noticed cards returning after swiping them though.
