Random Chinese messages popping up

I am having the same issue on my phone (LG G3 D855 with fulmics) and my SO phone (Nexus 5), same weird message started popping-up yesterday. I think after installing pokemon GO from an APK from APKmirror dot com.

Ran both messages through google translate and got: File monitoring service is running. Processed files ###ms / number: #

So i'm like wtf, what is running a file monitoring service on my phone in chinese?!

Any ideas?

edit: read somewhere else it could be tied to ES FILE EXPLORER, 65fastback do you have that app installed?

I have ES File explorer on both a Nexus Player and Nexus 9. Uninstalling now. Neither of my devices are rooted.

Getting the same random messages. Started a couple of days ago. Also have Es File Explorer. Aliexpress could also be the culprit?

Anyone else have any ideas or solutions?

I'm having this issue too. The only new app I have is Pokémon Go. Anyone remove the problem yet?

ES File Explorer used to be the go-to app for file management on Android.

But that changed many months ago.

Im getting the same thing. Only thing i installed in the last couple days was pokemon go. I then read about the the infected andriod apk thats going around! I also have ES file explorer installed but why would that suddenly start doing it? Also if people are not using ES file ex then what are you using?

cheers!

Panic over, looks like a debugging feature in ES file explorer was not turned off when they released the update.

Many months ago, the makers of ES File Explorer began experimenting with offering "additional services" in the form of ads and/or annoying notifications. Check the user feedback in the Play Store and other threads here at Android Central; sort by "Newest", or just search the forums here for a number of threads on this subject.

Some people are also a bit concerned because ES File Explorer comes out of China and you are giving it full access to all of your files and history... ( https://who.is/whois/estrongs.com )

I just bought a new 128 gig sandisk sd card for my phone..I forget all the specs but it was a good one. Every time I power off my phone. When I power it off I get a message saying my sd card is corrupt and I need to format...So I do..BUT, it keeps the %20 of data I have on there and formats the rest,, time after time it does this...never happened with my san disk 16 gig sd card with the same specs... anyone know about this or about a fix perhaps?
thanks for taking the time to read this...
Patrick..
BTW I'm using a Tmobile 64 gig LG V10 on 6.0 unrooted.
