Random FC's

Has anyone experienced random FC's of apps? I rooted using Route66 and I have had a few random FC's but I never ran my phone unrooted - I rooted immediately out of the box. So far had a random FC on tapatalk and HBO plus and once looking at settings for the play store. Now, i just booted into recovery and ran 'fix permissions' which I learned can cure random FCs from my days on GNex flashing and I also restarted phone so maybe one or both of those actions (fix permissions plus a reboot) may have solved it.

But I am curious if anyone has experienced this either with or without root.

I did run a backup but I did not restore anything

Another common source of freezing, rebooting and shutdowns is a corrupted file/file system on the sd card. Especially if a previously used card is transferred to the phone from another device without reformatting it.

So far so good since I fixed permissions and restarted the phone!
