Random pop-up, separate window

[Android Central Question]

I've had my galaxy s8 for a little over a month and I feed suddenly started getting a window pop-up add that is separate from any app. When I click the show all running apps button there is no description. The pop-up says:

"Your Samsung SM-G950U1 Chrome Mobile browser may be too old.

Installing newest DFNDR: Antivirus & Booster will speed up page loading time by 78% and reduce 3G traffic by 45% with enabled compression.

Click OK and install DFNDR: Antivirus & Booster from Google Play for FREE."

I never use Chrome so I know it's not legit.
Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Some app you installed included some adware. Uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.
