Random power offs and now not charging

The random reboots were once ever week or so now 2 in the last day. Also now I've had it charging all night, battery says charging and the lightning bolt is there but it IS NOT charging. About ready to demand a refund.....HELP!!

FYI this just started with the Android 4.2 and 4.3 updates
