As much as I dislike how slow Samsung is with updates, I can honestly say they are the most supportive of the dev community, and I can only hope HTC starts thinking more like Samsung. I have not seen any Samsung Androids with locked bootloaders, which brings me to my point:
So is it possible for a manufacturer to unlock a bootloader in an update? I have not seen any evidence of this anywhere, so its a curiosity to me since supposedly HTC is backing away from signed bootloaders. As doubtful as it would be for HTC to do this, is it even possible to unlock a bootloader via an update?
