Random Reboot?

Had this happened to anyone? My V20 all of a sudden restarted, most likely from a 3rd party app I was using. Could have been because it overheated too maybe? I was using the 3rd party app and multitasking, phone was getting pretty warm. Wondering why Android phones do that.
