Random reboots

Just another owner of a Nexus 4 with random reboots - except when it does reboot, it cycles on up until the point just before I can enter my screen lock pin, and then reboots - about 10 times before it's stable again enough to stay on at the screen lock login. What a pain. I've now reset to factory settings about three times, and have NO third party apps installed at all. I didn't even upgrade any google apps after the reset except for Maps and Gmail. Still does the reboot - 10 or so reboot/cycle times about 5 to 10 times a day. That 4.3 update couldn't get here any faster for me. I've lost faith in Android and LG.

How long have you had it? If you're within the 15 day window, definitely return it. I'm assuming you're not however, given the steps you described. One thing you could try (if you're comfortable with such things) is restoring the factory image. This is more than a simple factory reset, it's more a wipe and reinstall. You can download the image files for 4.2.2 on Google's Android Developers website. 2defmouze has written an excellent guide on how to install it, check it out here. If you're not comfortable with doing that, you can always return the phone through the warranty process.

It's possible 4.3 will fix your issue, but it's also possible it's a hardware issue (in which case the only thing you can do is send it in for warranty repair).
