random restart

Had my galaxy s7 since launch. I have noticed on a few occasions now to phone has just randomly restarted itself. Sometimes it will freeze for say 10 seconds and then restart other times it just restarts.

Has anybody else had this issue. I'm thinking of taking it to a samsung store to see what they suggest. I have not had any other issues.

Have you tried calling technical support for your wireless carrier? It doesn't sound like anything that I have experienced. I have had mine for almost two weeks.

Hi, after posting the original post I have not had any issues/restarts here are the steps I took. A week or two ago I downloaded a load of random apps from the app store. After reading a few posts on how 3rd party apps can cause crashes/restarts on your phone I decided to uninstall All the apps I downloaded and any other app I didn't use or don't really need. I also downloaded a app called restart logger which logs any restart the phone does (I have tested this and it works). I am pleased to say since doing this I have not had a restart which I have witnessed and their has been no logged restarts from the restart logging app. So far the issue seems to be resolved (fingers crossed). So I am putting it down to a buggy/corrupt app.

Hopefully that will be the last of that. It makes sence as the phone was fine from day 1 until it randomly started restarting and has now stopped since uninstalling a load of apps.

I'm getting the restart problem as well usually when I'm playing a few seconds of each song repetitively about 20 - 30 songs and s7 restarts
