OK, my gf has this phone we bought from a friend as she had 2 upgrades and gave us one b/c my gf had he phone stolen. Well this was free at Best Buy and was free w/ an upgrade which worked b/c we could float her some money etc etc.
Well, occasionally the phone will lose all ability to call and send messages of all sorts. It's two weeks old. A reboot will fix the issue but I'm not sure it will always work.
Does anyone know what kind of hassle I can expect from Verizon when I take it into the store in a couple weeks when looking to get a replacement? I figured since a friend purchased it, that might cause an issue but there has only ever been one owner and one person to even pull it out of the box. I understand these phones have had issues which makes me irritated I didn't do more research prior to purchasing it. Hell, I would take a factory refurbished phone as long as I knew it worked.
Any info about this partially unique situation would be appreciated.
Thanks!
